While we provide therapy across a broad spectrum of needs, we maintain specialized focus in several areas, infant toddler, psychotherapy, anxiety management, depression, relationship dynamics, family systems, parenting, and personal growth. David also has extensive experience working with fathers, and coaching professionals navigating career transitions and leadership challenges.
With more than 20+ years of experience facilitating clinical and educational groups for fathers we currently offer virtual therapeutic groups and skill-building workshops focused on specific themes such as, co-parenting, effective communication, parenting, father engagement, and life skills management. These offerings vary, please use our Contact Us section on the Home Page for additional information.
All sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. After scheduling, you’ll receive a unique link to join your session at the appointed time. You’ll need a private space, reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person treatment for most concerns. Many clients actually report benefits to virtual therapy, including eliminated commute times, increased comfort from being in their own space, and greater flexibility in scheduling.
Prior to your first session, we’ll provide a tutorial on our telehealth platform. If technical issues arise during a session, we have backup protocols in place, including alternative meeting links and phone options. Any time lost to technical difficulties will be compensated in your session time.
We recommend finding a private room where you won’t be interrupted, using headphones, and considering a white noise machine outside your door if needed. Some clients even use their parked car as a private space. We’ll discuss privacy solutions during your initial consultation.
The initial 60-minute consultation serves as an introduction for both of us. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, review relevant history and current challenges, answer any questions you have about the process, and begin developing goals for our work together. This session also helps determine if we’re a good fit for working together.
Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions, which provides consistent support and momentum. As your goals progress, we may adjust to biweekly or monthly sessions. The frequency is collaborative and can be adapted based on your needs and circumstances.
The duration varies significantly depending on your goals, the complexity of your concerns, and your preferred pace of work. Some clients with specific, focused goals may benefit from 8-12 sessions, while others working on deeper patterns or complex issues may engage in therapy for several months or longer. We’ll regularly review your progress and adjust our timeline accordingly.
We understand that life happens. We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid the full session fee. Exceptions may be made for emergency situations on a case-by-case basis.
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Private pay is the preferred method, and we encourage clients to get reimbursed for services through their health insurance plan. We can provide you with a a detailed receipt for your insurance company for potential reimbursement according to your benefit plan.
Initial consultations (60 minutes) are $150. Standard individual therapy sessions (50 minutes) are $180. Group sessions and workshops vary in cost depending on length and format. We believe in transparent pricing and will always discuss fees before beginning services.
We maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire about current availability during your initial contact if cost is a barrier to receiving services.
We currently accept Apple Pay, Cashapp, credit cards, and Zelle. Payment is due prior to or at the time of service.
Yes, with specific legal exceptions. The content of your therapy sessions is protected by both professional ethics and HIPAA laws. The primary exceptions to confidentiality include: imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, suspicion of abuse of children or vulnerable adults, and certain legal proceedings. We’ll review these limitations in detail before beginning therapy.
We utilize a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and practice management system with end-to-end encryption. We never record sessions without explicit verbal or written consent, and all client documentation is stored securely according to professional standards and regulations.
We encourage open communication about your therapy experience. If something isn’t working for you, please inform a member of our team or discuss it directly with Mr. Jones. Often, addressing concerns strengthens the therapeutic relationship. If you decide we’re not the right fit, we’re happy to provide referrals to other qualified professionals.
